I was holding her downstairs and you and Doug were upstairs sorting laundry. She was fussy but when she heard your voice, she would get really still and listen hard. I can remember the kids responding to Rick more often than to me and I felt like you but both of my kids came to me when they wanted comforting and a little extra loving. I love you guys. It's tough having to leave such a sweet baby and I know you miss Trisha after having spent so much time together. Keep happy thoughts in your head and don't sweat the small stuff. I have printed out a couple of the sonograms and have stared at them for quite a while. Here is my grandchild, this precious bundle. It has always amazed me about the miracle of life and being able to see these sonograms and the growth, amazing! I love you guys and my love for this child is already firmly in place.
